PASTORS' spouses
This section is especially for you
Welcome to this part of our online ministry of encouragement to those who are married to pastors, ministers, missionaries etc.
This part of the ministry is geared to encourage you in the unique set of circumstances spouses often find themselves in, especially in our Scottish church culture. We want to keep it real, honest and God centred as we look to explore some of the common issues that we experience due to ministry. We hope to feature encouraging contributions from others who have gained wonderful insights over many years.
We want to encourage you that you are not alone and indeed, that you may be enlightened to discover that ‘behind the veil’ many of us are wrestling with very similar issues. We firmly believe…. “BUT God”….. He IS able … and He is with you in all the ups and downs, never leaving you or abandoning you. Always loving you and wanting you to feel that love.
We love you, we are for you, and our prayer is that you know the peace, joy, grace and strength of God as you journey alongside your spouse in serving God.
🙂 We would love to hear from you 🙂
Share your story with us or let us know any topics you’d like to see covered for your encouragement, growth, and blessing.
***We never share information or details with any other ministry or third party.***

Keeping Encouraged and Supported
Ministry isn’t easy. That’s an undisputed fact from those who are actually in ministry that is. The old jokes of ‘working one day a week’ wear very thin when all you really long for is one day a week of no work! Whether we’re a leader, pastor, or pastors’ spouse we...
God’s Got Your Number !
Do you believe that God not only loves you, but knows where you are and what you're doing every minute of the day? I certainly do after an amazing experience I had several years ago. At the time I was driving on 1-75 near Dayton, Ohio, with my wife and children. We...
Change is in the air for ESPS Ministries
Over this last year we’ve all had a front row seat to the most seismic shift this generation has experienced when the pandemic struck, and Lockdown became a way of life. Thanks be to God that vaccines are being rolled out for our protection and at last there are...
Godly Mothers (natural and spiritual)
As Mothering Sunday approaches this weekend, what an ideal time to celebrate and thank God for all the Godly women, both natural and spiritual mothers, who have impacted families, churches, and communities through their example. Their love, kindness, compassion,...
Even Ministers Suffer From Suicidal Thoughts
My cousin’s trembling voice uttered the unthinkable. “Kay, I need to let you know that Wayne took his life this morning.” My knees collapsed under me. “No! How can this be? What happened? Why? What was wrong with him?” My mouth formed tumbling questions despite my...
A Good Soaking
It took me a while to notice, too long to save one life, but just in time to rescue the others. The lives of my houseplants! On closer inspection of the small curled up leaves the other day, I discovered that most of my pots were literally bone dry. I’m not usually so...
The Fathers LOVE Letter
From birth to death there will be many loves in our lives. BUT the greatest love for every one of us is to know the love of our Heavenly Father. He loves each of us perfectly, lavishly, and unconditionally. This Valentines weekend is a timely reminder of His perfect...
Good Family Screen Time
You plan a family movie night, dim the lights, settle around the TV with your snacks when horror of horrors something very inappropriate invades your screen resulting in an immediate mad scramble for the remote! Annoyingly, I’m sure it’s happened to most of us. It’s...

It’s almost a year to the day since we had our first ESPS Ministries conference for women in ministry and leadership. Tailored for women who serve God in the roles of pastor, pastors spouse, missions workers, church leadership, etc. It was enormously beneficial to get...
